Can I use permanent hair dye remover after four days?

by Pat on January 27, 2012

I tried dying my hair a medium-brown color, and it turned black. Really black. I did this last saturday and am going to get a dye remover and permanent dye tommorow. Has anyone had experience using this stuff? What will it make the color of my hair look like after? How long do i wait until i dye it again? (school starts friday!!) =[[
[[i really regret this]]

my friend dyed her hair black and used hair dye remover,
the one she got you left in till your hair was as light as you wanted it.
and she dyed it immediatly after so lighten it with hair dye remover and dye it a lightt brown.
and condition your hair REALLY good cause hair dye stripper damages your hair.
so id get the hair hot oil treatments and let the conditioner sit in your hair for awhile, while you shower :)

The reason your hair turned so dark was because it was overporous, or you left it on too long. Or both. A dye remover is best done as early as possible but it makes hair EXTREMELY porous , and it is unwise to use a permanent dye aafterwords as it could turn even worse than the original problem. The remover will most likely turn your hair a bright orangy colour, and not evenly if self applied. A permanent dye on top can make it appear multicoloured… likely orangy roots and blackish ends. i HIGHLY recommend you put yourself in the hands af a capable colour technician NOW rather than later. The worse you make it, the more costly a professional fix will be.
